What is a "Head Spa"?
Traditionally, a head spa is an establishment that focuses specifically on the health and treatment of the head, scalp, and hair. They put a large emphasis on massage and cleansing of the scalp almost like a facial for your scalp.
Our Head Spa Experience
What we are offering is the Americanized version available with the resources we have so far. This includes the circulation sink which is an integral part of a Head Spa experience. The waterfall halo provides a therapeutic effect as the water runs over the scalp and through the hair in a very specific way.
The products and tools we have carefully selected to maximize efficiency for each specialized concern. We are starting with three basic options, including hard water wellness, a deep cleansing, and a dry scalp variation. when researching we found that these are the three most common things the majority of clients are wanting to address.
What is an appointment like?
Our head spa services are deeply relaxing. They will begin with a scalp analysis using a microscope to show clients what their scalp looks like before the appointment so we can compare after the appointment is completed. this provides visual evidence of buildup removal caused by product, dead skin, environmental factor, such as dust, dirt and debris and more, which is a foundational element of Asian head spas. clients should select the type of service. They are wanting to receive when booking their appointment, and also have filled out an intake to ensure that their concerns will be addressed during the appointment. They will be asked before beginning to ensure that their needs are being met before starting the cleansing process. We will go in with a dry or oiled scalp massage and application of a disposable warming eye mask to start getting the muscles of the scalp and face relaxed. We then due to rounds of cleansing first to get the initial buildup off and the second will focus on a deeper cleansing and exfoliation of the scalp after the big debris has been loosened with a thorough scrubbing and massage session during each cleanse. Next will be either a deep conditioning or masking application, depending on the type of service you choose. Clients will be under the steamer for about 10 minutes to allow for deeper penetration into the hair follicles to maximize, absorb, and efficiency of the product after the deep condition has been completed, we will rinse and do a preliminary dangle with additional conditioning products. The final rinse will set you under the water halo for some therapeutic sounds and additional relaxation. This is where we will also complete a neck and shoulder massage and the final scalp massage. After this, we will dry you and have you sit in a chair to be tangled and further towel dried before continuing to the final scalp analysis.

We welcome all hair textures and have selected a variety of products to be able to address each hair type and texture. if you have any recommendations for our technicians, they are always welcome as there are many different products, and some may not work for every individual. We will be offering take-home hair towels at an additional cost as an add-on very soon.
