To ensure a professional, relaxing, and respectful environment for all clients and staff, please review and adhere to the following booking policies:
1. Appointment Confirmation
- All clients are required to confirm their appointment 48 hours in advance. At that point, you will have the opportunity to cancel or reschedule.
- This helps ensure you’ve properly planned for your session and allows us to maintain an efficient schedule.
- We hold a card on file for all bookings to ensure that we can enforce our cancellation policy.
- Your card will only be charged after services are rendered or in accordance with the cancellation policy.
2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance and no show clients will be charged 100% of the service.
- We understand emergencies happen; If you have a true emergency or illness please call us.
- Clients who cancel more than three times in a row will require a deposit to book their next appointment.
3. Late Arrivals
-The time booked is your scheduled start time. If you arrive late, your session will be shortened to end at the originally scheduled time.
- Late arrivals will not receive a time extension or discount.
4. Early Arrivals
- Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. We always prefer that you are earlier rather than late. Please be sure to use our virtual check-in so our therapist can let you know that we are ready for you before your scheduled time starts.
- This helps our therapists complete necessary sanitization and cleanup between sessions and ensures you have a peaceful experience.
5. Intake Forms & Medical Information
- We request that you complete your intake forms online prior to your appointment.
- If unable, we will review the forms with you in the studio.
- Mindful Moon LLC is not liable for any issues that arise due to incorrectly completed forms or withheld medical information.
6. Age Policy for Minors
- We do not accept clients under 18 without in-person parental or guardian consent.
- A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign the liability release forms for minors.
8. Client Conduct During Sessions
- Clients are required to remain properly draped under the sheets at all times.
- We maintain a safe, professional, and respectful environment for both clients and staff. Harassment, solicitation, verbal abuse, or any other inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session and permanent ban on rebooking.
- Offenders will be reported to the Anne Arundel County Police Department depending on the violation as we are required by law to report misconduct.
- Should you have a medical emergency we will first call emergency services then your emergency contact to let them know the situation.
- Clients must be **free from drug or alcohol intoxication. If you are under the influence, we cannot legally or ethically perform massage therapy, and your session will be canceled with applicable fees applied.
10. Acknowledgment
Before booking an appointment, please be sure that you read these terms carefully and agree to everything outlined within. Once you're on our schedule, you have acknowledged that you have read these policies and agree to adhere by them.
